The Tettix foundation, organizer of the yearly Meesters&Gezellen project is looking for three new board members and a financial manager, for at least one year to begin with, for the 2027 edition with masters of Cappella Amsterdam and with conductor Daniel Reuss.
The board members’ task will be to continue the work of the Tettix foundation in continuing the Meesters&Gezellen projects the coming years.
This means decision making about the course the foundation will take, with which choirs to cooperate, maybe finding new ways of organizing things, taking financial decisions and responsibility, for instance on the continuation of a project if a budget gets tight, bringing in new people for the actual production, etc.
The role of board member is explicitly a controlling task. We foresee an investment of maybe 1 board meeting every 2 months (online if necessary). It is, for now, without fee. It can, but does not necessarily have to, be combined with a production (or financial) task, for which we will be/are also making a call. Preferably (but not necessarily) Dutch spoken.
The current Tettix board will take ample time to onboard new board members in their roles.
The first task for the financial manager will be to find subsidies and grants for the 2027 edition of Meesters&Gezellen (ca. € 50.000) with Cappella Amsterdam and Daniel Reuss. Further on contact with the concert locations and masters (Cappella Amsterdam). There is a fixed fee for this task of €4000 (with restrictions if targets are not achieved). Continuation of this job after one year is possible. A good command of the Dutch language is an important requirement for this particular position. The new financial manager will be extensively onboarded by the previous financial manager
If you are interested in any of these functions, please write an application e-mail to info@tettix.nl, before April 10, in which you explain why you would want the position and why you are good at it. Interviews may be part of the application process.
We look forward to your application!
